Tema: Past Simple: Verb To Be – Interrogative form

·         En sus apuntes copien la fecha el tema y el desarrollo.

En  esta oportunidad avanzaremos estudiando las oraciones interrogativas del tiempo pasado del verbo To Be (Ser o estar), es decir la forma en la que vamos a preguntar en Inglés.

Estructura:

Para formar oraciones interrogativas el verbo To Be se lo coloca al inicio de la oración quedando la estrucura de la pregunta de la siguiente manera:

Verb To Be + SUJETO + COMPLEMENTO + ?

Was I at school last month?  Yes, I was / No, I wasn’t  ( ¿Estuve en la escuela el mes pasado? Si estuve /No estuve)

Was he a good actor? Yes, he was / No, he wasn’t ( ¿Era él un buen actor? Sí era / No era)

Was she a famous actress? Yes, she was / No she wasn’t  (¿Era ella una actriz famosa? Si era / no era)

Were we at the cinema last night? Yes, we were / No, we weren’t (¿Estuvimos en el cine anoche? Si estuvimos / No estuvimos)

Were you at the cinema last night? Yes, you were / No, you weren’t (¿Estuviste/Estuvieron en el cine anoche? Si estuve/estuvimos, No estuve/estuvimos)

Were they at the cinema last night? Yes, they were / No, they weren’t (¿Estuvieron en el cine anoche? Si estuvieron / No estuvieron)

A modo de práctica realizarán las siguientes actividades:

Activity 1: completer con  was o were. Luego responde, las preguntas con la Y son respuestas positivas y las que tienen la cruz son negativas.
